Allegations President Bush staged photo-ops in aftermath of Hurricane Katrina tragedy
Tuesday, September 6, 2005 In a press release issued Saturday, September 3rd, 2005, Democratic Senator Mary L. Landrieu of Louisiana claims that President Bush staged a photo opportunity, at the breached 17th Street levee, by having equipment quickly moved into the background during the event. Senator Landrieu says the equipment was dispersed elsewhere the next day, but did not provide details. Landrieu says in her press release, ” … we witnessed a hastily prepared stage set for a Presidential photo opportunity; and the desperately needed resources we saw were this morning reduced to a single, lonely piece of equipment. The good and decent people of southeast Louisiana and the Gulf Coast — black and white, rich and poor, young and old — deserve far better from their national government …” The President and Senator Landrieu toured the 17th Street levee on Friday, and held the photo-op. Senator Landrieu said she…
Microsoft Axapta Dynamics Ax: Brazilian Portuguese Version Consultant Highlights
Here’s An Opinion On: Yield Advisory By Andrew Karasev Axapta/Microsoft Dynamics AX short overview. Navision Axapta was designed by Navision Software, shortly before its acquisition by Microsoft Great Plains Business Solutions. Navision Software had tremendous success in Europe and partially in North America with Navision Attain. Some IT commentators believe that Microsoft purchased Navision Software because it had European clientele and Microsoft with its mid-market ERP Microsoft Great Plains was present in USA, Latin America, Canada, UK, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand only. If this is true – Axapta was kind of in the position to still proof itself – Navision Axapta was targeted to upper mid-market and probably in the time (2001/2002) Microsoft was not yet ready openly compete with high-end ERP brands, such as Oracle Financials, Oracle Applications, PeopleSoft, JDEdwards, SAP R/3. However since 2005 Axapta sees very high interest both in Western Europe/UK and USA among…
Saturn moon Enceladus may have salty ocean
Thursday, June 23, 2011 NASA’s Cassini–Huygens spacecraft has discovered evidence for a large-scale saltwater reservoir beneath the icy crust of Saturn’s moon Enceladus. The data came from the spacecraft’s direct analysis of salt-rich ice grains close to the jets ejected from the moon. The study has been published in this week’s edition of the journal Nature. Data from Cassini’s cosmic dust analyzer show the grains expelled from fissures, known as tiger stripes, are relatively small and usually low in salt far away from the moon. Closer to the moon’s surface, Cassini found that relatively large grains rich with sodium and potassium dominate the plumes. The salt-rich particles have an “ocean-like” composition and indicate that most, if not all, of the expelled ice and water vapor comes from the evaporation of liquid salt-water. When water freezes, the salt is squeezed out, leaving pure water ice behind. Cassini’s ultraviolet imaging spectrograph also…
Mayor of London Boris Johnson announces bidders for additional Tramlink vehicles
Saturday, March 26, 2011 On Thursday, London’s Mayor Boris Johnson announced the shortlist of bidders to supply up to ten further trams to Transport for London (TfL) for use on the city’s Tramlink network in Croydon. The trams will be used to supply additional capacity on the network between Elmers End, central Croydon and Therapia Lane — one of the most congested parts of the route. TfL, who purchased the Tramlink network from Tramtrack Croydon Ltd. in 2008, announced the plans late January, after submitting the tender to the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) on January 29. According to the notice, the additional trams will operate approximately 75,000km per year, will be needed for “at least 10, but not more than 20 years” and can be either new build or existing vehicles that can be modified — at a reasonable cost — to run on the Tramlink infrastructure.…

Massive ice deposits found on Mars
Friday, March 16, 2007 The European Space Agency‘s Mars Express spacecraft has discovered ice deposits in the south pole of Mars that are larger than the state of Texas. Scientists say that there is enough water in the deposits to cover the entire planet with up to 36 feet of water if the ice was to melt. Some sections of the ice deposits are up to 2.3 – 2.5 miles deep. The ice is composed of carbon dioxide, a little bit of dust, and water (90 percent of the water is estimated to be frozen). What has caught the attention of the scientists working on the Mars Express project is that this may help reveal whether or not there is any (microbial) life within the ice. Another perplexing question that scientists are trying to solve is what happened to all the water that produced all the channels on the surface…

Learn About Different Types Of Commercial Vehicles
Here’s An Opinion On: Dig It Contracting By Daniel Millions Vehicles are the non-living means of transport and they are used all around the world for different purposes. Most of the vehicles are made by human beings but there are some vehicles that are not made by human beings. Floating tree trunks and icebergs are some of the vehicles which are not made by humans and cars, bicycles and boats are some of the vehicles which are made by humans. As a result of the creativity of human beings and the development in technology, a number of vehicles have been developed over the past few years and more advanced vehicles are being developed. Vehicles differ from each other on the basis of driving force, load carrying capacity and the purpose. A number of vehicles have been developed for carrying out specific purposes like boats have been developed for carrying humans…

Wednesday, May 19, 2010 The Internet has already brought great things to the world, but has also brought spam, phishing, scamming, etc. We all have seen them across the Internet. They promise money, weight loss, or other things a person may strive for, but they usually amount to only a lighter pocket. Online advertising has become something that the increasingly Internet-reliant society has become used to, as well as more aware of. As this is true, online ads have become more intricate and deceptive in recent years. However, a certain type of advertisement has arisen recently, and has become more deceptive than any other Internet ad, and has tricked many users into credit card charges. These sites claim to…
